Photographer's Note
Following this picture published yesterday of the Yamdrok Tso Lake from the Kamba-La pass, here is today a descriptive photograph of the working conditions of the tibetan road workers.
No ! You are not dreaming ! These people sleep outside at 4794m at the pass, on a stone floor, with some covers in order to stay alive. I do not remember any more the temperature in the early morning, but it seems that we can feel the cold on this photograph by this impression of fog which emerges there... and I think we can see mist leaving the mouth of the smiling girl.

Wonderful, great how you captured everday life. I think the mist and facial expression really bring this photo to life.
Maybe it's just me, but I think these black boarders that I've seen on a few photos, take away from the feel.
