Very well seen. The contrast is very representative of nowdays societies.

You really were at the right place at the right time... One of the best shots I´ve seen from you, Maciej.
I like the street view on the left but I wanted to try a simplier version – I posted a WS.

Content vs. form.
Life vs. appearance.
The debate is still open... And the gap is widening.
Seeing, watching, witnessing, acting... So, what else is new?
Effective shot, thank you!

Another great one from you Maciej where you have put reality and the not so real side by side and asked the viewer to compare. Great work.

Really well seen.
But I would have cropped the left part and correct the perspective.
Oups I was about to make a WS but dominik already did it.

Very good depiction on "the have's and have not's" in society. I like the photo as is with the pedistrians walking because it gives reference to where the photo was shot and a sense of perspective. The cropped versions eliminate the perspective of the street. If I cropped it I'd only crop the persons tilted head.

Brilliant. I like photos like that, showing some contrast between different people. Or between what global village is trying to sell us all, and normal people, or these from outside of "cool" part of society. The only disturbing thing is this head on the left edge of the pict. Technically great, as usual.

think it's a strange place to buy the watch...
no Maciak, this is a very great and painfull confrontation with the truth... and as the old saying goes: there's no wealth without poverty... we face it here..
straightening is oke i quess, but i wouldn't crop the left of thought... cheers!!!

A fine juxtaposition but I would crop out the people on the left. I think the distract more than they add.

Contrast between poverty and luxe is well rendered in this snapshot. The model on the advertisement close her eyes to hide the view to the old lady and the old lady doesn't seem to see the nice model! Nice work.

Hi Maciek, hope you're feeling better already. Very good catch and well seen. I'm glad i opened the thumbnail, 'cause I couldn't make out exactly. Very obvious contrasts

Wonderful capture Maciek. It is reminiscent of your images from the garbage dump, only more powerful since it puts the reality of poverty so clearly in context of conspicuous consumption that exists all over the world, not simply in the west. Although I appreciate the workshops, I prefer the image as you compose it with the street traffic putting the whole scene into context. I'm also disinclined to worry about perspective and geometry with images like this, that focus on life in the moment. Thank you.

I like the strong juxtapositioning between rich & poor , glamour & poverty. Well seen & shot. I prefer the original. The young woman strolling by, looks remarkably like the target audience of the poster. I would clone out the mans head, though.

Nice contrast. Ypu have a gift for this kind of shot. I especially like the inclusion of the actions at the left.

Terrible contraste entre le monde de la mode de la beauté et la pauvreté qui vous force à fouiller les poubelles pour vivre. Superbe Image. Amicalement/jr

say this one is a 1 and a half smile.
The pros : the opposition between the old woman and the poster of course, -which poster doesn't even dare looking at her-, the perfectly matching tones,
the cons : the left side, i don't really see the point here, the red girl is simply breaking the tale.

not sure if anyone who has commented here understand the chinese character on the board.. it goes "dont look at me at a different way, i dont care the way u see me."
very ironic and masterfully done.. reality makes me a sad person.

Well capture and contrast between the advert and the old lady who is finding something from the bin. The chinese words on the Advert saying that"Don't look at me in other way, I am not the way that you think I am" It shows that she doesn't care what people think
