Photographer's Note

In hopes of avoiding the crowds I woke up real early to visit one of Beijing's famous landmarks. I didn't expect to be the first person inside the gated walls! But just minutes after I took this photo crowds of people arrived.

Here lies The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests in the early morning sun. The skies were clear and blue, and the moon was setting in the background - bonus!

Hi Bennett,
Splendid light on this beautiful structure, it must have been amazing to be the only person there. The moon is of course the icing on the cake.
