Photographer's Note

This sun set is viewed from Chidiya Tapu in South Andaman Islands. I had waited for almost two hours for the clouds to scatter in a hope that i may witness the beautiful moment. I am glad I could.

Nice light in this image. I like the streak of light from the sun as it sets.
Is Andamans in good condition for tourism? I know that the islands were affected during the Tsunami.

beautiful image, looks like a golden spear is thrown from the sky to pierce the calm surface of the sea. Sure makes the picture a bit dramatic. Nice capture.

Hi Manisha,

The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The distance between the two shores is giving depth to the scene. The Sunset is giving nice colours to the sky and to the sea. Have a nice day.
