Salam Farhat. The first thing i shall mention is the extra vivid frame. i think it competes with the subtle pastel colours of the image.The picture is beautiful enough without the yellow exclamation mark around it.But then it's all to do with personal taste. If I look past the frame, i feel at peace as i watch the sun set and the boat glide along the Hooghly River. Regards. Klaudio.

Dear Farhat,

I think no need for this yellow frame. Another point is that the thing in the foreground in very strange which needs to be cut. Overall the pic would have been a beautiful one if the foreground thing is removed. This is disturbing.

Hello Farhat,
A fine dusk picture, with a perferct fire-ball descending. River scenery under already darkening sky, shown well and scaled by the big float and boat on mid-straem. Fine shot.

I have to agree with Klaudio and Joginder that the bright yellow frame was not such a good choice. It is rather disturbing. As for the photo itself I find it beautiful. It's a very well captured Indian evcning atmosphere which evokes a lot of memories. I imagine I can hear the noise of the Calcutta crows as they are gathering around the trees where they will spend the night. The blue and purple tones of the sky and the water are lovely. The boat is well placed, and although the buoy may not be so beautiful it fills the foreground very nicely.

Hello Farhat,
the scene and the atmosphere you have captured are very lovely. I don't agree with the very bright colour of the frame though, I think that it undermines the deep scenery, the setting sun -that is much darker- and the quiet evening mood. You managed to capture very fine natural hues which have to struggle to make an impact. Your composition is wonderfully balanced. Congratulations and thank you!

The view of the river is beautiful with a great sunlight and lovely colours. Good inclusion of the lonely boat too, it all creates a very peaceful mood. I am not so sure about the yellow frame though, but the photo itself is excellent.

Hi Farhat,

You're fortunate to have this scene, especially if it's quite typical. A very calm and peaceful mood that is set by the moment captured. I can imagine sitting along the banks of the river and quietly enjoying the day turn to night. I really like how the sun is divided into two colors, and of course, the solitary boat making its last journey for the day is just the right touch to cap it off. Hope you've had a nice weekend. maybe not the best of lighting conditions, but then again it is sunset time so its quite limited.

what i love most is the vastness of the river and how small the people appear to be. really gives off a sense of feeling insignificant as humans :)

I love this composition because it tells a story. The end of the work day and return home to an Indian family. The sun timidly layer gives a nice touch of color.
