Photographer's Note
Actually I spotted the boy at little late and get a very little time to compose. there is an obstruction in front of my camera and in a hurry my lens coolides with the obstruction and made a parmenant spot in My UV filter.
This photograph was taken at the Daswasamedh Ghat of Varanasi. The boy was running to catch a kite torn from its thread.
About varanasi:About varanasi:Vārāṇasī (pronunciation (help搏nfo), Hindi: वाराणसी, Urdu: وارانسی, IPA: [βɑrɑɳɐsiː]), also known as Benares, Banaras, or Benaras (pronunciation (info), Hindi: बनारस, Urdu: بنارس Banāras, IPA: [bɐnɑrɐs]), or Kashi or Kasi (pronunciation (info), Hindi: काशी, Urdu: کاشی Kāśī), is a famous Hindu holy city situated on the banks of the river Ganges (Ganga) in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the oldest continually inhabited cities in the world, dating back thousands of years and contemporaneous with the Sumer civilisation. The city is called Kasi, "the luminous" in the Rigveda. It is often also referred to as "city of temples and learning.
The culture of Varanasi is deeply associated with the river Ganga and the river's religious importance. The city has been a cultural and religious center in northern India for thousands of years. Varanasi has its own style of classical Hindustani music, and has produced prominent philosophers, poets, writers and musicians in Indian history, including Kabir, Ravi Das, Munshi Premchand, Jaishankar Prasad, Acharya Ram Chandra Shukla, Pandit Ravi Shankar, Hariprasad Chaurasia and Ustad Bismillah Khan. Varanasi is the home of Banaras Hindu University. Tulsidas wrote his Ramcharitmanas here, and Gautam Buddha gave his first sermon at Sarnath near Kashi. The language spoken in Varanasi is Kashika Bhojpuri related to Hindi.

Hi Partha,
Great point of view from above. I love the circles of the ripples in the water created as he is running. The shot has a lovely dynamic to it. Good composition with the boat too, well captured.

Hello, Partha--
Nice work here, the simple composition is very appealing, with the static rest of the boat countered by the dynamic, diagonal running of the boy. Have you tried it in black and white? Also... i guess that's why it's good to have a UV filter on, eh... that's much better than a permanent spot on your lens!
Thanks!

Partha,
That is a quick thinking to have framed in such shot notice so nicely...
The ripples form a nice diagonal making the motion very apparent & impactive...
So nicely made...
Cheers,
Prem.

Great shot Partha. Actually, better than great...I mean, really, I haven't seen many other photos on the site where a boy is running on water. I can't help but think that this a perfect shot of an amazing little boy...was his name Jesus? Although, in Varanasi, I'm sure there are not many boys named Jesus!
Nice composition and color. Perfect timing and great eye to catch it.
Great work.

Partha, cette image est des plus belles avec la barque si vieille et le jeune qui court sur l'eau en laissant des ronds. Dommage que la photo ne soit pas plus grande et plus d嶨inie.
