Photographer's Note
Varanasi is one of the old cities of India. The architectural views, the Buildings( HAVELI in local language) are also interesting thing for photographying. Here is one of the buildings. I like the deep red shade of the building.

Wonderful colours here Partha, and lots of interesting detail - I especially like the elephant, although I wish you hadn't chopped off it's back foot!
It may not have been possible if the alleyway was very narrow, but I'd have liked to have seen this taken from directly in front of the building instead of from an angle.
Even so , the way you did it works well too.
Cheers,
Ben

Hello Partha. I find this scene very effective. The man at right balances nicely with the almost negative space at left. Very nice work!

Partha'da...U've been able to capture the true essence of Varanasi with this Haveli shot. This is very interesting shot, the painting on the wall the the figure of the man coming out this very ornamental door complement each other beautifully. This is really good shot and here you once again prove your amazing skills. Keep going... :)

Hi Partha
Great moment here with the man walking out the door. You pov of view is quite dynamic even though it would have been nice to have the whole elephant leg in the picture. I too like the rich red wall. The slight movement of the man contrasts nicely with the sharpness of the rest of the photo.

First of all, the colour really graebs my attention in this, with the bright red and blue really going together very well. Wonderful detail too, and of course the man walking out of the building gives this it's own little mini-story. Well done!

Just want to add my voice to the chorus of approval. Very rich colour. Maybe a step back would have yielded perfect framing.
