Photographer's Note
Hello Dear friends,
This is my another post from Agra in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. In the first week of March, 2013, I visited Taj Mahal. I used my ultra wide angle lens and shot it for capturing its back side from the bank of river Yamuna. There is a high wall but I tried to shoot it.
I hope you enjoy it, best wishes to all,
swapankumarroy

An exceptional POV chosen, Swapan, diagonally halved the pic. space from the famous Taj-Mahal on the upper part, and the river and promenade along its bank and walls under shadows.
Distinct all the smallest details, superbly rendered on photo.
Wish you a nice new week,
Ike

Namaste Swapan
An unusual view of the iconic Taj, with a lovely reflection at right. Good sharpness and a rare blue sky. The silhouetted bird is well placed in the frame. Tfs!

Hello Swapan,
Any attempt to show this famous building from a not so common angle is to be applauded. From this POV the buildings and the wall are nicely seen on a diagonal. The birds and the reflections provide fine details.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Swapan,
A photo of a very famous place, but seen from an original POV. The light is beautiful here, adding such a warm glow to the white stone. The birds are a nice detail as well.

Hello Swapan,it is always interesting to see alternative views of famous places, and this is certainly a viewpoint that I have never seen before.
Maybe a little dark in the fg,nevertheless we still get a good impression.
I like the composition with the different towers and domes all lined up along the river bank.
Regards Jean.

Bonjour Swapan
C'est bien vrai qu'on ne voit pas souvent ce monument à l'amour sous cet angle. Magnifique point de vue à partir de l'eau et surtout magnifique lumière.
Amicalement

Hello Swapan
The dark wall is an important element in the composition. It underlines the beauty of the Tay Mahal and is a good contrast with the late afternoon light on the temple. The bird is a fantastic bonus for the image.
Excellent work. Have a good week. Groet Rob

Hi Swapan
Nice composition and a change from the traditional view. The foreground is a bit dark -that's how I see this picture, I'd suggest having a play with the levels to rectify this, Well done.
Best wishes

Hi Swapan,
The composition is well divided, the sky, the TajMahal and the river. The point of view is showing the details of the Taj Mahal. The presenc eof the birds is animating the scene. Have a nice day.

Hello Swapan The building in itself appears as stately as on the other side and surprisingly (unless you corrected with Photoshop) the verticals on either side of frame appear intact
despite the use of an ultra-wide lens. Many complments. Cheers

Hello Swapan,
Original view of the famous Taj MAhal but from the side of Yamuna River. Well use of the wide angle lens but without distortions. Nice inclusion of the bird near the big white dome. I like it very much.

Hi Swapan
I was on this OTHER SIDE of the Taj Mahal as well, but I didn't get very far. Within a few minutes I had security men approach me and escort me back to the normal areas. This was a couple years ago.
you lucked out with some water reflections and the light overall is very attractive. always fun to capture unique pov's. cheers

Hi Swapan,
I like very much this angle on the famous structure. I don't recall ever seeing it from point of view!
Great side light which contributes to the depth.
Magnificent building, It is worth alone to travel to India just to see this spot!
Very well done,

Hello Swapan,
This is a highly original shot of the grand architectural edifice, from the shores of the lazy River Yamuna. On a hot day in July 2010, I was on the other side of the building and shot The Temple of Love, before suffering a heat stroke.
I will place this beautiful shot in the group theme, Domes, Spires and Minarets.
Warm regards,
Bulent

This is a place I really want to visit some day, and it's very nice to see it from a different POV, but still imposing and with excellent light and colors! The birds flying are a beautiful detail of the photo! Wonderful composition!
