Photographer's Note
Not far from the place where the mangoes were lined up for sale was this "Chat" shop where Samosas along with other street food were being sold. Not entirely hygenic and certainly not a place for the affluent. The man in the red shirt is having an argument with the seller and the little girl is all attention.
Samosa :- samoosa is a fried or baked pastry with savory filling, such as spiced potatoes, onions, peas, lentils and sometimes ground lamb, ground beef or ground chicken. They may or may not also contain pine nuts. The samosa originated in the Middle East (where it is known as sambosa) prior to the 10th century. They were introduced toSouth Asia (India, Pakistan) during the Muslim Delhi Sultanate when cooks from Middle East and Central Asia migrated to work in the kitchens of the Sultan and the nobility. Its size and consistency may vary, but typically it is distinctly triangular or tetrahedral in shape. Indian samosas are usually vegetarian, and often accompanied by a mint sauce orchutney. With its origins in Uttar Pradesh, they are a popular entree appetizer or snack in South Asia, Southeast Asia, Central Asia and Southwest Asia, the Arabian Peninsula, the Mediterranean, the Horn of Africa, North Africa andSouth Africa.

Hi Satya
I can Imagine this is not a place for the wealthy, and that there could be hygiene issues, but the food still looks very good! Perhaps it is because I am hungry, but it's a good display to my eyes. This is an excellent candid street scene, and the young girl avidly watching is an important element to the scene, she is a viewer of the event just like us, but her body language says that this is nothing unusual, these arguments are just passing entertainment
Nicely done, I really enjoy these street scene.
Best wishes

Hello Satya,
Samosas have always been one of the delights of my journeys to India, regardless of fillings or accompanying sauces. I always tell myself that a freshly prepared samosa, even in the street, could not harm my stomach. This is a very typical view of an Indian street-stall for fast food, but the interaction of the salesman and the much bigger man in the red shirt, plus the girl eaves-dropping, makes this more interesting than an ordinary plain view. Apart from the local atmosphere there is some quiet "action" going on. You spotted this well.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Satya
Une belle et intéresante scène de rue, d'un endroit certes peu hygiénique, j'aime le regard attentive de la jeune fille, la tenue rose de la dame, beaucoup de détails a voir, et d'expressions

Hello Satya, Fine scene like one can see everywhere in India. I am rather carnivorous, so Indian food is not my favourite, but I wouldn't mind samosas on the street. I liked the street food and it never was harmful for my or my friends health. In restaurants there was too much masala everywhere. I remember delicious omelett eaten somewhere from newspaper. I loved it! And what a great recycling it was. Fatty newspaper was then eaten by the cows passing nearby. I like the view of these two charming girls. I miss India seeing shots like this.

Hello Satya,
I love samosas and have a friend who makes very delicious examples, ever since she went on an Asian cookery course.
The samosas take centre stage in your photograph, with the characters, either side, adding the drama and containing the whole, like natural borders.
I am so intrigued, like the young girl, who is giving the scene full attention! What is the subject of their argument?
Have a lovely day,
Bev :-)

Hello Satya,
according to the description cited in your note, samosas must be delicious and the display of the pastries at the centre of your frame is so attractive. You've achieved superb clarity even in the shady background and the abundant details make this presentation natural and thorough. What's captivating, though, is the human interest that involves many characters and attitudes, interaction that's intense and intriguing. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,
Ourania

Bonjour Satya,
J'aime beaucoup les scènes de marché. Surtout lorsqu'il y a des vendeurs de bouffe de rue. Celui-ci semble très populaire, donc cela doit être bon.
Amicalement

Hi Satya. Pictures of markets are always interesting. The mix of people and goods of all kinds is absolutely worth seeing. If I'm somewhere in the world on the go, I go first to the markets.

Hi Satya,
An interesting note and also a very interesting picture. I wonder what they were arguing about, the quality of the food maybe? But the man in red contributes here with his eye-catching shirt. A very attractive glimpse of daily life, so very far away from my daily life in Gothenburg.
Kind regards

What a delicious food are samosas, here so well presented in a good composed street scene and looking fresh, ready to be eaten
It seems that the customer is complaining and the seller is listening in a serious way a little worried while the girl follows what is going on
Regards and thanks for the informative note

Love your narrative its so interesting - overall looks and sounds so yummie and never mind about the small arguement. This makes me hungry, samosa is a very hot favorite snack in fact all over India and I remember this too well I love the ones they make in Rajasthan. Great street photography capturing their concentration, the mundane, the everyday, the things that people take for granted perhaps but fail to see the joy in. A tasty snap and glorious colours Congrats.

Hello Satya,
I like the 2 customers nicely bookending the shot at both left and right yet leaving a clear view through the centre. Good sharpness and vibrant colour with excellent saturation. A fine capture of this interesting Indian street market. Tfs!
