Wondeful use of the light coming off that bare bulb. It illuminates this scene nicely and colourfully.

You captured the market really well- almost looks like a night market with the dark left side. Good levels and compositions.

Congrats on your 100th post, Arindam. Market pics are always pleasant to look at and this is no exception - it is well managed in terms of DOF with colors that POP just so. My only reservation, and we are speaking as friends here, ok, is taht you are more than capable of creating more dramatic, and revealing scenes than this one. I say this only because I respect your talent and your eye (I'm sure you understand).

Hi Arindam,

Colors and lights, these are the stars on this shot. The colors are very natural, the light soft and well distributed in the whole frame. I like the shadow at left, gives relief, and I like too the atmospherical perspective you has reached, a big depth in this shot. Congratulations, and thanks.

Nice way to celebrate with this colourful market scene. The fact that it has been shot by night makes it even more interesting. Good composition with wise use of the light to 卻pen� the man𠏋 face.

beautiful colours indeed.. the bokeh looks great and you've done a great jobe on metering this one.. i think i'd have liked to see the focus more on his face.. rather mundane though compowise, especially from you, thus just the single :-)

What draws me to this photo first is the fantastic lighting. The contrast between the black background to the left of the frame and the artificial lighting works so well. Really great colors of the fruit stand. Very well done DOF.
