Photographer's Note

This photo is one of many that I took of the fishing folk of this southern Indian town. The nets are huge, and are pulled ashore by up to 50 villagers.
The beach is backed by high cliffs, where I was standing.

Welcome aboard TE Kevin. Very interesting scene. I like all the detail there is to it. Its rare to get a chance to shot a crowd from an elevated POW, but you make the most of the opportunity here. I wonder whether a tighter crop would work. I'll try a workshop (in my opinion one of TE's most nifty features).

welcome to TE! contrast between beach and water is beautiful. symmetric position of two boats, fishing nets and series of villagers.. so detail shot.I like your composition too.
