A little girl peers our from between the stone feet of Shiva.
I was facing the opposite direction and when I turned, I saw the little girl being photographed by her father. I had just 3 seconds to fire off this one shot before she stepped off the pedestal.

Welcome to Trekearth. This is an extraordinary view, the child dressed in a brilliant outfit, set against a largely monochromatic background. I wonder how it would have been to shoot this image in a vertical format, showing more of the statue, and the little girl still in the lower right side.

Hello,
This is beautifully taken. The golden/yellow colour of the girl's skirt stands out against the darker background and she also gives scale to the statue. I also like it with the door cropped out which could be an alternative to the vertical format suggested by Bulent. Nevertheless an outstanding image - well done. Looking forward to viewing more of your images.

Welcome to TrekEarth. This is a fine picture to start with. The light falling on the girl is perfect, the colors of her clothes are fine, and I like very much her posture as she is leaning forward to look at you. You found her in a very interesting place that sets any Westerner's imagination going.
