Good POV, makes the photo of that man more dramatic. I love the composition. I think it could be more of colour intensity.
I'll try with WS.

Nice compo, with the HUGE man. I agree with Carma, you could probably play a bit with intensities and some sharpness.
best,
anton

Good perspective and lovely colours, however, I feel that it looks a little lacking in contrast and the white building on the left farshore is distractingly blown out (the image is slightly over-exposed and could perhaps of done with being one stop less exposed).
I did a workshop cropping in the image slightly and applying levels to crispen up the image a little.

Welcome to TE!
Beautiful image! The POV is great and the colros simply fantastic. It's a pitty that the left background buildings are a bit overexposed. By selecting them and reducing the highlight maybe you could balanced their exposure.

Very good shot of composition, excellent POV (point of view) and reflection of the golden temple, you got the eye for it, only the finishing of the colors by undoing the white colorcast is necessairy here. see my WS, hope you like it.

extra-exposure works here, and I like all the expanse of light bkue sky you allowed into the pix. Different colors from India. Well done!

hi manu
the thumbnail looks like painting and this bigger version is no disappointment either.
to start with your viewpoint and composition ... it's very original and also very informative from the point of view of journalism. this can be a very strong piece in a photostory on the golden temple or even one just on the guards.
another thing which really impresses me are the colours. they make the photograph look like a painting, especially the bule in the sky. normally i would have liked the sky to be deep blue using a polariser, but this light blue is sooo nice. it gives a touch of softness to this composition of the guard standing with spear.
the golden temple itself looks a little overexposed, but i dont think it could have been helped since your exposure on the gentleman is really good.
since you'r tkaing these kind of photographs i wanted to ask you something. there is that gurdwara , ive forgotten the name , but it's on the way to manali form delhi. there's this festival held there every year with horse races etc
do you know when it happens??
i know im being vague , but im just hoping that you know what im talking about
take care :)

Another great composition. Your point of view is very good, the photo wouldn't be that good had you taken it from eye level. The reflection of the building across is fantastic, as others already mentioned the left site is overexposed, I would suggest next time you expose for highlights and recover the details in the shadows in photo shop. Once you overexpose there isn't much you can do with this, shadows are easier to recover.

Nice angle, Did you laid down to take this picture?
The colors are very but the workshops added are showing that this picture can be improved a little.
But bottom line is that the shot is very good :)

Part of this photograph is a little overexposed, but the framing and the perspective are perfect. And I also liked the reflection on the water and on the floor.
