This is an instrument prepared by one of the hundreds of Sadhus gather at the temporary tents set up at Kolkata for the forthcoming Gangasagar fair. This gigantic 'Kolke' is used for smoking 'Ganja' or Cannabis.

About Gangasagar pilgrimage:

Gangasagar pilgrimage and fair is the second largest congregation of mankind after the holy Kumbha Mela. The latter is observed once in four years at alternate locations in north, central and central-west parts of the country, Gangasagar fair and pilgrimage is held annually on the Sagar Island𠏋 southern tip in the Ganges delta atop the Bay of Bengal. That makes Gangasagar all the more distinctive.

Wow, never seen such an elaborate chillimb! I thought it was a musical instrument! Now that I think of it, it's strange he has a viewer scope filled to the top, as if he's shooting something.

The perfectly sharp photo and the wisps of smoke make this photo a masterpiece! Morover, the background creates the impression that it's moving, adding to the dynamism of the shot!

really outstanding view of this Sadhu baba may be 'Engine baba' smoking ganja. You have captured this portrait nicely with very good light and sharpness. The face of him and the smoke shows nicely the action. Great sharpness and fine colours. Great photography. Tfs. Wish to see more from Gangasagar.
