Photographer's Note
The annual Pushkar Camel Fair is an experience that will make for a magical sojourn to Rajasthan. Enjoying the status of being the largest camel fair in the world, the fair portrays the colorful and vibrant side of Rajasthan and the flurry of colors impart a great look to the place. A tented city is created adjacent to Pushkar Lake during the fair and it is here that thousands of men and women cover the sand dunes and indulge in festivities, trade in livestock, handicrafts, participate in camel races, dances, drama, and music competitions. This is a truly dramatic event that shimmers and gleams with rich colours and vibrant life. The annual fair in Pushkar is serious business for villagers who spend days traveling across the desert to Pushkar hoping to turn camels into much needed cash.

Namaste Sabyasachi
Nice to have you, not often but at least from time time on this site
Yes the Mela in Pushkar is magic and I regret that I missed it this year
A nice expressive portrait, tack sharp and so natural in the way he looks at you
Would have deserved a better BG
Have a nice day

Hi,
An excellent close-up portrait and well done on the tight crop. The muted colours are well handled and excellent detail on the skin.

Bonjour Sabyasachi
Un vrai plaisir de te revoir parmi nous. Un superbe portrait très expressif, bien net sur un flou artistique. Un regard qui en dit long ...
Merci pour le partage et bon week-end.

Take care and do post more.

Hello Sabyasachi da,
Bahudin pore abar sei sign. Great. Like the expression of his face. Like the framing as ever. Very good colour tone. A perfect portrait shot with a background where the blurred background gives a superb effect. Hats off.

Dhonyobad!
The crispness of the lens shows as the bokeh gradually melts away! His eyes are the key...magnetic! even his turban, though not the normal bright colour we associate with Rajasthan, looks great in the subdued tone!
Best Wishes

Hello Sabyasachi, as a relatively new TE member this is the first time that I have studied your work,I find this image to be most moving, in that you have captured the very soul of this gentleman, the dark eyes and overall brooding expression tell us this is a man not to be messed with.
I look forward to viewing more of your posts.
Best regards Les
