Photographer's Note
People who have visited Sikkim or the Dooars in North Bengal must be familiar with the Coronation Bridge. Built over the mighty Teesta river in 1930 to mark the coronation of King George VI, the Coronation Bridge is considered among the best architectural wonders in the country. Today, Coronation Bridge is marked as a real specimen of excellence in craftsmanship. The bridge is located on the foothills of the Himalayas and is surrounded by forest land. It is the hub of numeous monkey families who use the bridge walls as their daytime resting place. This picture taken on a cloudy morning shows one of the younger and more curious ones sitting on the bridge rails.

Hi Sabyasachi,
Nice to see you got that little menace on the frame. The big big dark eyes. Its nice to see it a frame within a frame. The clear green bokeh and the little one looking straight towards you.
Have a nice time

Heat focus, no noise, as I see :-)
The framing is excellent. I was wondering whether it would be worth cropping the half window on the left...but then the picture loses part of its balance!
Best Wishes

Namaste Sabyasachi,
Very expressive eyes this small monkey, I like much this tenderizing portrait. In spite of a cloudy weather I like much the light which emphasizes the animal well especially its peeling which arises well on the background. Beautiful and pleasant photograph, thank you Sabyasachi.
With all my friendships and an excellent WE,

Bonjour Sabyasachi,
Le visage du petit singe est très expressif, il ne sait pas si le photographe est un ami possible ou s'il faut s'en méfier. Il est sur ses gardes, lui, le gardien des lieux.
Excellent !
Amicalement

Hello Sabyasachi,
What an eye catching composition and well framed portrait of the little monkey. The DOF is well controlled with sharp clear details and textures in the foreground and the out of focus background. Just splendid! Thank you for your critique of my shot at Devil’s Throat.
Warm regards,
Betty
