Photographer's Note
As we were leaving the Taj Mahal, I spotted this old caretaker from across the courtyard. I quickly ran over to him and asked him if I could take his photograph. He was absolutely stunned that I had asked him and nearly fell over himself in saying yes. About 10 min later, he brought a much younger man over who asked me if he could see the photos I took of the old man. When I showed him, he turned to the old man and told him it was true. The old man nearly burst with pride. It was brilliant.
