Rural view of Bengal is marvelous. The people are faithful, simple and amicable. The life is slow.monotonous yet peaceful.

Namaste Partha. Wonderful scene of this rural part of India.Do most of these folk own their own land or work for a landlord? i remeber seeing a provocative film years ago with Shabana Azmi playing the role of a peasant's wife who had been abused by a landlord. At the end of the film her young son picks up a stone and throws it at the landlord's house- the beginning of resistance. Amazing landscape. B&W gives it a timeless essence. Regards. Klaudio.

Hello Partha, what a wonderful treat,a beautifully composed and masterfully presented photograph.
The slight toning helps to emphasise the nature of the area, whilst the people with the animals and carts are well positioned in the frame being very sharp and clear.
A timeless scene immaculately presented.Stunning.
My best regards Les.
