Waterloo Street : Waterloo Street is a popular zone in Central Calcutta.The image has been shot at the intersection of Waterloo Street and Bentinck Street in central Calcutta and the famous Sweets Shop,Kanha is very much prominent in the frame.Calcutta is a megacity with huge population and central Calcutta is always bustling with humans.Hope you get to observe a lot of details of a typical Calcutta Interstion in this shot.The names of Lord Bentinck and the Battle of Waterloo are nothing new for Calcuttans of even the latest generation.

Hello Farhat,

You're capturing well this areet corner by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the bustling city with new shop and old ones. Along with the residents that do shopping or walking down the street, here look to the location of the life breath. And, it's also interesting in traffic sign.

A well known and much treasured Calcutta environment. Apart from the lively crowd (impossible to avoid) there are so many details on the pavements and the house that are so typical of the city and give me an urge to return. I wonder if that will ever happen. A very enjoyable photo with good colours and sharpness and a superbly captured atmosphere.

Very nice busy street scene, brimming with life. The combination of the people and the many signs give this a very nice gritty urban feeling. I like very much how the orange sign makes the central focal point while all around the many various other colors.

Hi Farhat,

It may not be overrun with people, but this image feels to convey a frenetic atmosphere. There's so many interesting little details to take in here, and I always enjoy a good every day street scene. A fun corner to choose as well, the red colors make this come alive even more....and as a big fan of Coca-Cola, it makes me happy to see it here! :) Plenty of detail, sharp focus and even lighting. Thanks for sharing the part of the local vibe.
