Photographer's Note
Murshidabad -II
This is the second image in the series, although uploaded a bit late.In this image ,you can see the Nizamat Imambara inside the Hazatduari Palace complex at Lalbagh.
Some tidbits about the Imambara :
The NizamatImambara was built by in 1847 by Nawab Nazim Mansur Ali Khan under the supervision and direction of Sadeq Ali Khan just opposite the Hazarduari Palace at a cost of more than INR 6 lacs. The main entrance just parallel to the north face of the Hazarduari Palace faces south. The masons took only 11 months to finish the construction as in addition to their wages they also received food which allowed them to work day and night. The present Imambara is 680 feet long, however the breadths vary. The central block that has the Madina is 300 feet long. It had been built slightly some feet away from the site of the old building in north. The Imambara stands just opposite to the Hazarduari Palace and is situated just on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. The gap between the shores of the river and the west wall of the Imambara may be a few feet. This Imambara is the largest one in India and Bengal.

Ciao Farhat
le dimensioni di questo palazzo sono enormi.
La foto è costituita da tre strisce di colore e nonostante la luce non sia delle migliori, il risultato è buono.

Salam Farhat and welcome back. Eleven months to build! Just a few hundred metres from my home several men with modern machinery are taking just about as long to build a small children's playground. Every time I drive or walk past they are either having a break, discussing something or leaning on something. Majestic building, impressive and elegant. i hope the air conditioning is operating for humidity can be a destroyer of things men build. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Farhat
where have all the people gone? haha
its so strange to see a photo like this from India without any human presence at all!
the sky is a bit hazy, but thats totally out of your control.
its a fine horizontally layered shot, each with contrasting color.
thanks for this one, always interested in seeing your gallery
cheers

Namaskar dear Farhat
A very impressive building, beautifully photographed. I like the crisp colours and panoramic format a lot. Everything is superbly sharp and the wide angle composition of this impressive building gives us a great idea of its size.

Hello Farhat,
The lush well maintained lawns make an excellent frame for the palace, and create with the sky an interesting layered effect. I like the light and colours.

Bonjour Farhat,
Mais c'est tout simplement immense ce bâtiment. Les jardins sont aussi superbes. Une belle diagonale dans l'image et surtout un beau rendu malgré le temps.

Hello Farhat,
The building has an enormous width, to a scale that not possible a close range photo - and yet show its full view. The green lawn in front is fresh and lavish, meticulously cared garden.
Fine details, inspite a bit mist prevailed.
Best regards,
Ike

Hi Farhat,
You have found and selected a great POV and good moment for taking this presentation. Like it! Due to the cold tonality the scene has a special mood. Attractive one! TFS.
Best wishes,

Hi Farhat,
Nice to see you post.
Tis is a fine image of this palace, and it's sheer size and scale speaks of its majestic stature. You chose a beautiful view of the place too, I think a head on shot of this would not have worked nearly as well as this does, the slight angle creates depth and gives a much deep appreciation for the length of the facade. The green grass is very vibrant while the sky has a very special color to it that I never see in my part of the world.
Thanks as always
Noel

Hello Farhat,
I like the way you used the panoramic frame, chose a subtle perspective instead of a symmetrical composition and made the extremely long façade look endless. The humidity and the haze create a mysterious, still atmosphere. The colours are charming, their contrasts interesting. Despite the distance and the difficult lighting, you captured fine details. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,
Ourania

Hello Farhat,
This is quite a long building for sure and you caught it well in an oblique line together with the large gardens. The colors and details are well rendered even in this unfavorable weather.

Hi Farhat,
I'd give you points alone for using the word "tidbit" in your notes, but there's also a very pleasant image to enjoy as well. :) Having just returned from Russia and seeing much green landscape there, this picture held an instant attraction for me, and I like how the colors have been divided in this composition. Well suited for a panoramic format, stretching the palace from side to side. Have a great day. Take care.
Friendly wishes,
Jason
