Hello Wanda,
This is a fine portrait of the woman captured while busy with her hard and unpleasant job of collecting firewood. She has a nice smile, and as all Indian women she is wearing marvellously colourful clothes, which in this case also go very well with the warm tones of the late afternoon light.

I do like the direct look at the camera, her gentle smile shows that she is at ease and pleased to pose with her precious bundle,the colourful clothes are in complete contrast to the barren background.

A fine environmental portrait. The frank and direct stare is great: she knows what you're doing, and is trying to suppress a smile I think. The clothes of course raise the tones well away from the duns of the background.

An infectious smile you've got there!
and it stands out a great deal, I think you've got the most emotion that says the most about her and even the eyes seem to be smiling! Great daily life capture pleasantly exposed and excellent detail blessed by the low golden light which is so precious here. Very sharp details and lovely toning you have achieved, the crop is attractive too and this does convey the sparkle she has. Simply wonderful portrait full of life & local flavour and the vivid colour is bang on. Awesome capture and pleasure to view, TFS

Hard work for this young lady, but she is smiling in front of your camera. Part of her arms skin is whitened maybe due to the firewood she is carrying
