Needless to describe the much photographed and the most famous of all of India's landmarks - The Iconic Taj Mahal. Taken on a cool late afternoon from Jamuna river.

Setting: 50 mm, 1/250 sec, F22, ISO Raw 200, 1646 hrs & Polarised

The view of the Taj across the river at sunset cannot be beaten as this beautifully realised composition clearly demonstrates. Perfect framing extracting the maximum impact from the strong geometric lines of the architecture. Ideally exposed to capture the sunset mood and the nuances of tone in the sky. Excellent clarity.

This site has been photographed so many times that it is difficult to find a new viewpoint but, I think you have managed it with this photograph! The distinctive shape and the minarets look beautiful, silhouetted against the pale, yellow sky.

Wonderful backlight with a sky in an undefined but very beautiful color, ideal the silhouettes of the different minarets and domes, forming a nice diagonal.

A great view of the silhouettes of the domes and minarets against the warm, pastel colours of the sky. Perfect sharpness and good composition, too. There is a nice diagonal line running from upper left to bottom right.

Hello Abmdsudi, now that is a point of view of the Taj Mahal that we do not often see.
I love the positioning of the setting sun and the subtle glow that emanates from it.
