Hi All and hello from a hospital. I have dug this photo out in my email and now trying to upload from my phone to continue with my Indian series in spite of my ill health.

This is a random portrait taken while on a boat trip along the Ganges. Once again, Varanasi reminds me of my last day in Kathmandu (here of my last "lady in red" upload from Nepal).

She's wearing a very pretty sari with beautiful gold and red colours in a checkerboard pattern.

Hello Kasia,
I am sorry to hear that you are also not well, but I wish you a speedy recovery. Things have not been going your way recently.
It's a nice portrait of the lady looking into the distance, obviously not at you. Her beautiful bright shawl makes her eye-catching from any distance.

Witaj Kasiu,
Swietne zdjecie indyjskiej kobiety w typowym lokalnym nakryciu. Jej twarz jest zamyslona lub zapatrzona w cos.
Ostrasc bez zastrzezen jak rowniez tlo nieostre przez co zdjecie bardziej atrakcyjne.
Mam nadzieje ze czujesz sie juz lepiej po Twoim pobycie w szpitalu.
