Photographer's Note
This is one of the few largest statues of Lord Hanuman in India. This one is located in Vasan village near Gandhinagar in Gujarat. Lord Hanuman who is considered as an incarnation of Lord Siva, helped Lord Rama to kill the demon Ravana of Sri Lanka.
The other large statue is located near Kanya Kumari, the southern tip of India.
Because of Lord Hanuman, the monkeys in India are respected and protected.
