Traditional Shepherd and behind him is his Valley Bungus, The toughness on his face tell me how had his life is.. What do you think ?
Bungus Valley
One of the relatively unknown areas of Kashmir with vast tourism potential. Lies at an altitude of 10,000 ft above the sea leaval. Occupying an estimated area of 300 sq. Kms.
Bungus is surrounded by Shamsberry Range, Leepa Valley.
This Place is not open for Tourists at the moment. But Special written permissions can be managed from civil authorities in advance to reach this place as this place falls very close to LOC between India and Pakistan.
This place is expected to open for tourists by 2008. Well to reach this place u can take Public transport till Magam in Handwara town which has Government rest House and then, 3 hr Trek to this place wonderful Valley.

The light may not be ideal to bring out the colours, but the exposure level is fine, the pleasant landscape adds appeal to the portrait, I wish the animals were a little closer.

i visited the place last year on 7th oct and on the return i stayed at handwara to witness the fateful earthquake of 8th oct how ever the place left a lasting impression on me anyway it really is a fabolus place well captured
