Hi Vivek,
This is the end of the path on the shore of ganga mata ... One again a great pic, with the smoke in the background and this orange boat man in the foreground. Just a small regret in your compo : whay don't you exclude the cut boat in the down left part ?
Congrtatulation anyway.

Hi Vivek,
Good and very dramatic capture; very informative.
İt could be better if a little bit more sharper. But anyhow good job.

Strong image... it reminds me of the movie Apocalypse Now. Though the background is out of focus, it adds to the graphical element of the image. Well seen and captured,
Cheers,

Hello Vivek,
What a surrealistic image. This is one of the most compelling shots I've seen in TE, and the practice of mass cremation I had not known of. The foreground is perfectly sharp, the smoke obscures the background, almost mystically. I will file this shot away among my favorites.
Best regards,

A good documentary photograph. It tells a a story and illustrates what you have to say in the notes.
As for the sharpness, it is probably a small thing as adjustments could probably be made.
Close ups of the dead bodies burning would add to this photo story and I hope you have those as well.
Great Job.

A good documentary photo, Vivek, the unsharpness keeps us respectfully away from this intimate scene.

Great shot, very atmospheric with all the smoke in the background. The man on the boat seems isolated yet calm in the midst of what looks like chaos behind him.

an open air crematorium, huh? it is so amazing and at the same time confusing that laws regarding cadaver burning differ from one country to the other. your india has something so unique and this is one!
great capture with the smoke well controlled as not to end up into a backdraft! the gentleman's inclusion in the center added the beauty in the composition. i should now accept my indian colleague's invitation to see amazing india, for sure!

A very busy shot indeed with all the action and stuff all over Dragon Vivek. You've captured the sombre mood very well with some great colours and teture. As usual you have a great pov and have positioned yourself well. The smoke from the buring pyres in the back ground is eerie. Surely a 'nirvana' shot. Great work

Hello Vivek,
A very strong capture of the "end". Very busy shot this one. The smoke, the woods and the flowers are making it a strong compo. The partial desaturation effect is nice,
good work.

Namaste Vivek. Powerful shot, encompasing the microcosm and macrocosm of life. The swirling smoke reminds me of the Milky Way and the man perched in front seems to stress how fleeting our existance is and ultimately that Life is a solitary journey. Well done. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Vivek, Great sense of being there in this photo. Minus the smell for better or worse. I guess there is a reasonable argument that cropping the left side would improve the composition but then we would lose some of this extraordinarily cinematic scene. Especially the curling smoke. I notice in a couple of your shots that you seem to focus on the central point of interest in the fore ground and the background is less clear... This brings greater drama and I presume is intentional? Regards Paul

Hi Vivek !
A great shot indeed! Is it allowed to take picture at this ceremony ? The man who is looking at you is the testimony of your presence. The scene is impressive with all that smoke behind.
Good job.

Hi Vivek:
Great pic. I may have cropped a bit on the right to reduce the clutter but that's only my preference.
