Photographer's Note
Jayanti is a small hamlet in Alipore subdivision of West Bengal. Being adjacent to the Buxa Tiger Reserve, it is great place to spend a couple of nights in the serenity of the forests. Though the Royal Bengal tiger is a rarity here, other animals such as elephants, deers, bisons, peococks can be spotted. A trek to the famous Buxa Fort is also highly recommended.
This picture is a scan from an old photograph which i had taken back in 2005 when i had visited the place for the last time.

Hi,
Now this is a gem!!!The road seems to be a beauty to walk on,the leaves on the trail provide a very unique dimension!!!Only one thing- could the broad header and footer frames be avoided? You know best!!
Regards,
Sagarneel.

Hi Nabarun!
Nice picture with nothing but forest and the little path in the middle.Very good depth and point of view,I like it very much!
The colors looks good and there愀 nice contarst between them.
Just the sharpness could be a little bit improved, but you did well with this one!
Thanks for sharing,

Hi Nabarun,
Very nice capture,
The fallen leafs and the green makes this path more energetic.
Well done.
A small personal suggestion your framing makes this image squared, it gives the feeling of vertical stretch. try the small border on top with a length of 1 cm something like that. this is my personal opinion.

Hi Nabarun,
Excellent composition. I like how you framed this shot. The colors are nice too. I do feel that the scan resulted in a little softness. I can only imagine how beautiful the orginal slide must have looked. Beautiful shot.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Dear
This is wonderful picture, typically post-card picture and looks like a cinema scope movie shot. Like a movie is starting......, So good POV and lights with color, Trees, that way, leaf, all created a wonderful picture.
I also visited west bengal (Kalyani and calcutta) some months ago , i 'll share picture here soon.
A great one.
kind regards

Nabarun,
Your composition is great using the dirt road to lead the eye through the shot. The trees frame the scene nicely as well as creating nice lines through the shot. The lighting and colors are great with nice sharpness and detail. This looks like an excellent place for an afternoon walk.
TFS,
Asa
