He stopped spraying everyone and everything for a minute. I was afraid to run next to him, because he sprays with no rules, except everything gets it! On the back of his pedal bike is a small machine that fogs the entire street. It makes a horrendous noise. The equipment has a long metal tube the spray blasts out of. The government does this every three months, I was told, to kill mosquitos. I was drinking tea, in a cafe on the sidewalk when he came by, no warning. Everything eatable is sprayed as he goes. Then it is sold and eaten with the spray on it! Foreigners ran, the locals had no fear.

Hi Gloria;

I like the dream like effect you've gotten on this photo. Very interesting. I also like the colors, good saturation.
That's a horrible experience by the sounds of it, trying to enjoy your coffee, and all of a sudden, your getting sprayed with insecticide.

nice shot and terrible note. First I thought it was like an evangelic apparition... but after looking more near, reality action is discover... science fiction picture... (X FILES isnt-it ?)

A very interesting street scene, Gloria.
I like how you have framed it, with the colourful t-shirts on the left and the shop signs along the top. Well done.

What a lighteous and colorful treatment for this not so nice subject ! Probably a typical contrast between the good and the bad sides of a country like India. The picture is superb and the note gives a good complement for your previous posting. Thanks to share it !
