They are children of fishermen in Bali.
Waiting the fathers coming back from the sea, while playing with the fire wich kept them warm

Fishermen are among the poorest families in the country. Are these children happy ? sometimes they can :)

Une photo toute simple qui met en sc鋝e ces enfants avec le feu.
Le sujet est int廨essant mais je suis un peu d廨ang� que l'on voit le visage d'un seul enfant et pas celui des autres. Si tu avais peu prendre la photo de l'autre c矌� on aurait vu les visages et les expressions de chaque enfant.

Hi Cessy, A nice capture of the daily life shot for these kids. Good to capture of the older kid led the group to keep everybody warm. Good capture of the color, the expression and the environment.

Something is strange in this composition. Maybe the different angle would be better - en face of three half-naked boys? But overall - interesting.

A nice simple scene with good clarity and where the group of 3 is well balanced by the one with the powerful blue t-shirt, I'd like too to see it shot from the top right corner to see all visages and for that reason I prefer your WS as well.

Hi Cessy,
There is something both endearing and haunting in this shot. The warmth of the scene reaches out to us. The children are so young. What is their future? Is theirs a happy camaraderie? I like the simplicity of the scene, yet its uniqueness. They seem so young, and yet somehow very savvy already. Well captured, with good clarity and colour.

Nice capture Cessy, you can almost feel the warmth. I like how we can see the elder boy's arms embracing the fire from your POV. Exposure, DOF and framing is good and I like the detail that you can see in the fire and the ground around it. Cheers . . . David
