Photographer's Note

Shot taken at Jakarta's Sunda Kelapa Harbor, a traditional harbor where old wooden boats from Indonesia's outer islands still come to bring things to Jakarta like wood and agricultural commodities. It's an amazing place and the boats have to be loaded using completely manual labor - no cranes here! This shot was taken in RAW and processed into an HDR image which I kinda like. Cheers...

Hi Tempo

Use of a wide angle in a low POV to incorporate the two boats and the man reparing them. The HDR process is too present for me, but I like your shot.

very good POV. Beeing slightly lower than the person makes a nice image. Wide angle also makes nice proportions here, good work!

hello tempo excellent compo showing this man sitting between the 2 boats having their prows pointing in 2 different directions. superb perspective too and nice use of the small wooden staircase as the FG
Colors and light are great but I'm not at all a fan of this HDR treatment, which IMHO, brings nothing positive here

great vertical POV, well crossed by the diagonal of the pier and the stairs.
good composition with this man among the fishing boats.
and nice colours treatment too.

Great POV, and good use of the WA. The HDR look is very present, but not in an agressive way as usual. Very luminous, but maybe it lacks of contrast. Anyway this painting like picture is very good for me !
