Some of the vacance scenes had changed in a half century. Biggest change may be the private owned cars. Just like the large part of urban areas all over the world suffocated by cars, some tourist businesses established as the railway opened are abandoned.
This is a ruin of a hotel "Only 10 minutes walk from Izukyu Shimoda terminal, few steps to the sea just across a serene highway, no parking."
