Photographer's Note
As you have probably guessed judging by the number of Torii photos posted, that I was bewitched by these red gates which I saw in the early morning light. By this time the tide was rising and the deer had gone. Soon the water would make it impossible to approach the structure which then could only be admired from the raised promenade.

Hey Klaudio
Another great POV of the gate with tide coming in and another fantastic reflection. Awesome colours.

Hi Klaudio.
These red gates make superb subjects, especially in this kind of light. Very gentle lighting and shadow, subtle colour tones, and lovely partial reflection straddling the pebbly shoreline. It's interesting that your photos of many Japanese scenes tend to resemble delicate Japanese art.

Hello Klaudio - I can quite see why you were fascinated by these structures, they are so iconic and photogenic! This one makes a bold statement with the partial reflection. Nicely composed and executed. Best regards Rosemary
PS. What is the significance of these gates?

Hi Klaudio!
It's not immense of extremely beautiful, but I'm certain if I were there I'd be bewitched by it as well!
I really like this one specially for the fact that the title says so well: asymmetrical symmetry, caused by that partial reflection!
I also like the colors, management of light, vertical format and contrasts!
TFS - congrats,
Cheers,
Neyvan

Hello Klaudio,
nice the view of these red gates with their reflections to create a beautiful optical effect in the image.I like the way that outlined against the grey sky, as the contrast of the colours.

Hello Klaudio,
You are bewitched by these structure, and visitors your gallery feel bewitched vicariously. I remember when you were in Japan in late 2009, and I am glad that you are still posting from there. It's been 18-19 years since I was in Hiroshima, and in Nagasaki, both poignant destinations.
Warm regards,
