Photographer's Note

Even though I'd lived in Japan for several years and saw many rice fields, I rarely got right up to close to any. So this was the first time I saw tadpoles living among the growing rice. This was taken at Oyama Senmaida, famous for its picturesque terraced rice paddies.

nicely captured moment with movement. the out of focuse of the green rice-leaves has made the composition much better. well done.
