The moon, blossom and crows, a photo from Nara, Kinki

Photographer's Note

I thought I would take this because it was pleasant and calm likt the last picture I sent. The blossoms are back but it was not the main focus, the reason why I took this shot was because of the moon and the crows.

It seems to me that blossoms are not only enjoyed by us humans, but by all the creatures all over the world too.

I thought that the branches would make a good picture too.

I think the bird on the right with the wings is or can be distracting and I thought of cropping it out, but I didint.

Very good clear sky without any noise. A larger f stop (5.6) would have put the blossoms in focus, I think. Good job. Like the silohuetted birds. Overall, I think this is a well composed shot. Well done.

those branches are great and the blue background and the moon! your composition is very good here.
if i were to take the shot i would get rid of those out of focus blossoms at the bottom and left but i guess it's just a matter of different tastes.

Good photo - there is a lot too it; the moon, the birds, the blossoms and the branches, so I think it is the sum of all of these that makes it interesting. I agree with Cloverstar's note, a smaller aperture to ge the blossoms in focus would have been good.

I like everything on this shot! I have two of the same kind, it愀 something that i like a lot, shot the moon with some more things then just the sky! Well done, the birds look great on the shot!

En regardant cette photo je comprend mieux ces gravures anciennes hautement typiques du Japon. On voit ici la nature qui les inspire. On reconnait particuli鋨ement la forme des branches. Bravo!

I love everything as it is. You have a special touch, to photograph something many people take picturs of, but you make it different....... not only blooming trees, but the moon, crows enjoying the tree, and bare trees also... all so good together!

Ditto. The bird on the right adds interest. If all 4 were symmetrical, the shot wouldn't work as well.
