Photographer's Note

Sulphurous vents on Mt Asahi, Hokkaido - the northernmost island in Japan. One of the many reasons I love Japan is it's incredible diversity in nature. Hokkaido is wild and rugged and sparsely populated, in quite stark comparison to the Japanese mainland (Honshu).
