Chinese milk vetch field in spring, a photo from Chiba, Kanto

Photographer's Note

It photographed at the time of a flower festival in spring of seven years ago. This is Ōtaki-cho, the town of which is locate in the southern part in Chiba Prefecture, and southeastern Bōsō Peninsula. Average yearly temperature is a warm area of 15℃, and a forest and farmland are the pastoral land which occupies the great portion of area. Chinese milk vetch(Astragalus sinicus) with the petal lovely small pink petal blooms all over to the limit of a field like a photograph at this spring time. To Ōtaki, it passes from Ohara Station in Isumi Railway, and is in the distance for about 30 minutes.

pleasant moments and lucky people

Hi Mikio,
The beautiful foreground flowers dominate the picture, but the real interest is created by the couple walking by. A well composed picture with an interesting note.

Hello Mikio,
I like this very fine composition and the beautiful flowers covering the field. The couple with the dog walking along the horizontal line made by the narrow road are very important to the composition. To my mind the photo is slightly too light. If you had darkened it a bit, the colours would have been indirectly more saturated while still looking absolutely natural.

The WS photo is most beautiful, Mikio - and maybe you had to post it also as a main photo, to my humble opinion.
Spring flowers in charming purple/pink, a beautiful field to take an eassy stroll along.

Fine vertical field of lavender Chinese milk vetch flowers, vast and dense, with two strollers in the midst of it - nice effect.

This is avery eye-catching photo. The way you have framed it is very interesting, with what appears to be a road surface at the top. But I must confess I find the WS photo even more beautiful.
