Photographer's Note

I took this photograph on the way home after having gone to the post office near the Ōji Station to receive a load at midnight. I remember that time was turning around 0:00 of midnight. A platform of station does not almost have a figure, either and it made it leisurely. The train and subway which run the metropolitan area are the business time of day untill midnight 0:30 time, now. Passengers must get on the train until this time for going home. The last train of the day is crowded in it being unexpected. When we are not in time for last train, we have to use the a few night bus for suburban or a taxi. And, neither a train nor a subway runs till about 5:00 of a morning. What is excuted is a future matter, although 24 hours operation is under discussion now.

Hi Mikio,
A well composed picture with a good perspective of the train along the platform. The blue lines along the train and the yellow line along the platform have a focal point at the man, who also brings life to the scene.

Nice collected a very dynamic moment, as the train left the station.

Immense perspective and depth, the strong diagonal convergence leads the eye intersecting at infinity stretching the view all the way. Excellent lighting, bright colors with good motion effect and the person lends good scale and visual impact. This is one of your best shots todate!! My congrats
