What are they talking about ? Are they dating ? What are they doing ? Who are they ? Why is she still wearing her school uniform but he is not ?

2 young in Harajuku station, waiting for someone.
As you can guess, the girl is still wearing her school uniform. She is also wearing "loose socks". That kind of socks are not part of the uniform, they are a drift from fashion. If you have the chance to go in Japan, you will quickly notice that many sudent wear that kind of socks.
But the most surprising point, is that what ever the weather is, what ever the outside temperature is, they are always wearing skirt. Often, even if they are not wearing the uniform no more.

Great observation shot Stephane! Very sharp, strong contrasted B&W.
I suppose the white socks are from a school girl? I believe the school ask children to wear kind of a uniform? Just like England, or some in our neighbour country Belgium.
Where you lying there? Didn't they thought it was a bit odd? ;o)))

Great shot. Yes there must be a story in these feet. They are not just standing there. It's like the body language through the feet, the girl leaning against the boy and the latter taking it cool, very relaxed. I love it. And it's really sharp. I am also curious on how you were able to go down at floor level with your camera without them looking at you with a strange look in their eyes.

Really nice shot. I like that the girl seems to be really careful about how she wears her school uniform, her socks "casually" slid down but on exactly the same height on both sides and the shoes a little trendier than I would guess is expected whith a school uniform. Or maybe it isn't a school uniform at all... Nice perspective. Like Viviane I wonder how you took this picture, didn't the couple wonder what you were doing? B&W is excellent choice for this picture.

Thought provoking hmmmmm.......This shot speaks volumes , relaxation ,chat up lines, conversation the list is endless to the inquisitive mind... great to see it in b/w colour would not have the same impact , sharpness ,clarity . but above all the thought that went into capturing an original idea. Very well presented. Bravo

Brilliant. Great use of your camera, and even better observation. Your subject is good, but your presentation is better. I like the way the eye has a rich subject, but the blurred background has enough detail to try and search the context or location. Very nice.

Love this picture: this is really Japan (the socks, as you point out, are unique)! Also, the composition is excellent: without seeing it, one can imagine a story about what the people connected to these two pairs of feet and legs are doing (hugging is my guess). You did not show it, just suggested it. Very well done.

I'm sorry, but I think this is a very ugly photo, without signify and totally out from the contest of TE, as all your poor photo, for my mind.
Maybe your strange photos full of dark humor can have more possibility in others type of website, why you don't try?
