Photographer's Note

After taking a few weeks off from TE, I found a number of rolls of undeveloped rolls of film from my time in Japan before going Digital.

New Year is an interesting time in Japan, where the standard calendar year and the Lunar New Year sort of blend together, like a lot of things in the nation. The temples, while always busy, take on an added importance and an added crush of the faithful, the curious, and tourists, along with an additional flourish of color and decoration.

I have always tried to tweak my photography to really convey the sense of awe and overload that life in Tokyo can bring; hence, some pretty heavy cross-processing here.

No EXIF data available; shot on APS film on a cheap Kodak P&S.
