Tai Lue girl, a photo from Louangnamtha, North

OK, so I've been told straight portraits don't score well on this site. So be it, I'm not here to score.
This Tai lue girl was in a long queue of villagers that were waiting for me to take their portrait in a village about 8 km east of Luang Namtha town, I thing it's name was Ban Nam Yen.
She captured my attention because of her seemingly contradiction between her obvious age (12?). and the much older, more mature gaze in her eyes.
Tai Lue are famous for their weaving.

I think this is a very nice photograph...very well done. Her serious expression does lend to her looking older than only 12 years old...but it's a beautiful shot. Very nicely done.

Hallo Kees,
Wat een heel mooi gelaatsuitdrukking van dit klein meiske.Ik geloof dat de belichting ook een heel groot rol mee speelt.Ik denk dat je Sony F 717(ook de F 707)een ideaal apparaat is om dit soort fotos te maken,gefeliciteerd!
