Hi,
A shot from Vientiane and the Mekong River. This fisher was alone on the river with many tranquility just near the noisy vientiane. He fishing just with a hook not with bamboo cane.

The red colour of the man is a very good contrast and the small simpel boat looks really good. Good reflection in the water.

Wow Sebastien, C'est vraiment tr鋊 beau, la solitude � merveille! Ca fait un peu blanc et la composition est tres epuree, mais alors quel contraste, c'est lui qui dechire tout et fait la photo, ce gars la il ne pouvait pas trouver meilleure couleur pour s'habiller.
C'est tres reussi, bravo et bonnes vacances

I can se why this photo was so successful. Simplicity and intimacy couple together like this to produce a striking visual image. Well framed in an off center way, our eyes go straight to the boat and the man having nothing else to pollute your frame. I love it.

Minimalism at it's best! What a beautiful and tranquile (almost dreamy) photo. Excellent effort. Compo is excellent although placing the concentrating fisher even more to the right would have been interesting as would a tad more sharpness of the face. But that is really nitpicking over what is a splendid photo. Nice reflections.

You hope we like ???? We just love it !!! It is perfectly framed. Each piece of the picture help to focus the attention on that hook :
- the mist around,
- the man appearing from nowhere and placed on a strong node of the picture,
- his concentration on that hook.

I also love the nice soft reflection due to the mist. Great picture !!!
