Photographer's Note

A late afternoon shot of Taungthaman Lake - probably the most photographed placid lake of Amarapuras timeless charm. Shooting directly into low angle sun was my aim, just managed to get in a position to keep
the blazing ray glistening through and as usual lens flare can be expected.

The iconic bare old tamarind trees, as can be seen, have stood majestically overlooking the lake probably for hundreds of years and will hopefully stand for many more. A slight breeze disturbed the water's surface.....

Setting: 20 mm, 1/160 sec, F20, ISO Raw 200, 1605 hrs & Polarised
