Photographer's Note

This is so common but also some boring typical Inle lake image. As some friends already know very well, this fisherman is just a model, not a real fisherman. Yes I have to confess that I also did what usual tourists do there. I hope my donation(2000K) is used for his family effcetively.

I appreciate that you write that this is a fake fisherman putting on a show for tourists. Having that knowledge we can still enjoy the photo which is quite funny and well taken. With those clothes he is absolutely eye-catching.

I recognise the costume that these model-fishermen wear. I also paid, as you know, and I think at least it helps the people to survive and put food on the table. It's still a nice photo! :-)

I think I have already saw some similar pictures, but it is a unique one. His pose is perfect and I like how his orange pants counter-balance the rather dull environment.

Hello Takero, Classic view of this one-leg rower from the Inle Lake. He is posing nicely for you. And I do not see any fish in a boat. Artificial but attractive.
