T R A F F I C, a photo from Bago, South

Photographer's Note

Daily market along the main road that from Yangoon runs north east to Kalaw.
No villages around, just a giant market, some small and insane restaurants and rice fields and jungles everywhere.
No tourists except us and just local women with the face painted with the tanaka, really few men.

A not easy image, for the terrifiant traffic inside the market...

I love that image for the eyes of the woman in pink on the left side.
I saw that eyes just back in Milan one month later looking to the picture, not at the moment of the click.

A good daily life scene, from the local market. Excellent colour & reasonable sharpness. Perhaps a slight tweak to the contrast in the mid tone areas? Good pov, & tfs. Ciao!

Hi Paolo, old pictures are like red wine, the older the better ;)
I love that one, of course we could complaint on the lack of ultimate sharpness but this picture is so powerfull on composition, colors and emotion ! The best i prefer here is this smoking man and the background of jungle.

Good shot of the crowded market in this very good daily life composition, everybody looks very busy and like they are in a rush, good POV, colors and compo.
Maybe my ayes are a little bit tired, right at this moment is 11:50 pm in my country, reason why i see some lack of sharpness. But any way it's a great shot.

Amazing crowd, so interesting to watch what they are carrying on their heads and the density of his market is really impressive !
Great tropical colours, I would maybe have sharpened a little bit.
Thank you to show us scanned photos, they are so interesting as a witness from some years back,
