You have already seen the morning mist created by cooking on the wood fires, here you see a young girl on her way home after collecting wood. (One of the first shots taken with our new D200.)

Hello Elaine

This is a very good portrait Elaine, and what makes me say so? Well, first of all you have chosed a great condition to base everything around, the light.
The light seems to be at an angle to this girls face and that is what creates those nice contour colours that really makes this photo look alive.
The light might be a little too hard in some locations, but it is very minute so I don't think it ruins anything.

Wow, how this is great, Elaine. The tight framing of the girl. The red colour of her dress - her look at you and the way we can see she is holding the wood - just the way I like it.

So you got yourself a new camera - wow :O)
