The stupa in Bodhnath is the largest in Nepal. The town of Bodhnath is just outside Kathmandu - a fairly short cycle ride, and the enormous stupa is surrounded by buildings and can't be photogaphed from a distance.

Nice shot, Iain. Nice colors (especially for a nine year old shot). I like the way the eyes on each of the stupas is peeking through the spaces between the prayer flags. The people on the left are a nice touch, adding scale without being intrusive.
