Woman in pink, a photo from Bagmati, Central

Photographer's Note

Bhaktapur is a very old city plenty of architectural marvels, only two blocks from the main street is the craftsmen quarter, no so visited

There are people making bricks, pottery of all kind and (as it was Summer, so plenty of sun) putting them to dry on straw

Some people were working hard
Soome were resting and talking
Some were at the entrance of their houses showing and selling their works

This woman called my attention because she was all in pink dressed, she was barefoot but her plastic sandals were also pink

With a sign I asked her permission to take her photo and she smiles...

A very nice portrait with fine light and mild colours. The woman poses very well and is well placed against a dark background. The inclusion of pottery and baskets gives us some idea of the local crafts.

The smile on the face speaks it self, she was happy with the photographer.

廥te es el tipo de fotos que yo no me atrevo a tomar, pero que en Nepal o en India son muy habituales para los fot鏬rafos, previa autorizaci鏮 del sujeto.
Esta mujer con su bonito vestido rosa est� posando con mucha simpat燰 para ti, mientras espera vender su artesan燰 en la puerta de la casa.
Hiciste un buen trabajo, es una foto muy agradable.

Que composicion tan ideal con esta se隳ra que posa para ti con esa bonita sonrisa, gran nitidez que nos permite ver cada detalle de la imagen, incluso el interior de la tienda?.

P/D. En la terraza junto al mar no habia nadie, porque habia un fuerte temporal de viento muy frio y gran oleaje que nos salpicaba, despues de hacer la foto tube que limpiar la camara.

She has got such a sweet smile! There's a quite a bit of pink here...her dress as well as her slippers. You would surely know what these pottery creations are to the right?! They are piggy banks...seems like Bhaktapur makes them aplenty & people have a lot of savings here :-)

A great portrait of this lovely woman! and fine piece of interaction in her natural environment. Great shot. I especially like the composition within the frame and makes this absolutely charming. Her expression and sweet smile is priceless. Great detail, yet it doesn't distract from the main subject and the whole image vonveys a story.
