Photographer's Note
Close to Chukhung Ri around 18,000ft in elevation. In the distance is the massive Lhotse wall and behind that is Mt. Everest. This was day 21 of our Everest Base Camp trek which began in Jiri (elevation 6,200 ft) in early October, 2013. I think the prayer flags give the picture a foreboding and mystical appearance. Please enjoy.
