Photographer's Note
Ramkumari cooking popcorn in an earthenwear jug in her kitchen. She stirs with a handful of twigs plucked from a broom. There is no oil in the jug. Once popcorn starts flying out the top, she stuffs newspaper in the neck of the jug to trap it inside. Nepalis often eat a small flat dish of popcorn for their breakfast, not even a handful. Her niece is looking for escaped popcorn to snack on. Nepalis normally are very generous, and kind, sharing all they have.

To find beauty in ordinary places. Looking at their faces I think, that people may be happy living both in very expensive "high-tech" apartments and tents. I like the vivid colors.
