Quetta is a border town 70 miles from Afghanistan,there for the culture is more simmilar, the houses on the mountain are same as in Kabul (Afghanistan).this is a scaned picture & this was taken 10 years ago now its build more houses on the mountain.

It's remarkable how people manage to live under the most harse circumstances, which is the feeling I recieve from this picture. Really awesome how the buildings "climb" up the mountain side. I think the picture has real potential to be a mind-blower with some work in photoshop. Sincerely /Fredrik

What an amazing place. I get the impression that there are more buildings below those shown. I would have liked to see more of them and rather less of a fairly uninteresting sky. Alternatively just crop out about half of the sky.
It is still an interesting shot.

Fantastic shot. I have seen couple of picture related to 'Mariabad'(i guess) but this one is unique due to snow!
